Who We Are
Granite VNA is a locally based, nonprofit organization that has been providing home health, hospice, and community wellness services to adults and children since 1899, continuing a long tradition of neighbors helping neighbors. Our mission is to enhance dignity, independence, and quality of life by delivering exceptional health care and promoting wellness in the homes and communities we serve through every stage of life. With offices in Concord, Laconia, and Wolfeboro, we proudly care for individuals and families throughout central New Hampshire with compassion, expertise, and respect.
What We Do
Granite VNA volunteers make a meaningful difference in many ways, whether they are offering companionship, providing practical support, or helping behind the scenes. A variety of opportunities are available for teens and adults.
Hospice volunteers visit patients and families at home or in the Hospice House, offering a caring presence, conversation, respite for caregivers, reading aloud, music, or simply sitting quietly with someone who doesn't want to be alone.
Community volunteers support a variety of wellness and education programs and other special projects that enrich the lives of patients and clients throughout our service area.
Volunteers who prefer to work behind the scenes are equally valued. Office volunteers provide essential administrative support by assisting with copying, assembling mailings, filing, data entry, and other projects that help our clinical and administrative staff focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
Whether serving directly with patients or supporting operations from the office, every volunteer plays an important role in improving quality of life for our clients and the community at large.
