    Position Overview: The Volunteer Coordinator is a part-time member of the Habitat staff whose responsibilities focus on organizing volunteer support for the various activities of the affiliate.
    Desired Qualifications:
    ● Demonstrated ability to identify and execute tasks required to achieve objectives; including the ability to lead others; anticipate tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and function smoothly under deadlines and shifting priorities.
    ● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    ● Experience with office applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
    ● Ability to work with a team and individually.
    ● Commitment to Habitat for Humanity's mission.

    Duties:

    Primary Duty: Lead in the recruiting, training, and retention of GNHFH volunteers:
    Collect the skill and quality requirements of recurring construction opportunities and constraints; supporting committees; office administration and one time events.
    Lead the outreach efforts to secure the skills and volunteer capacity to satisfy the needs of the organization.
    Secure volunteer commitments to meet the organization’s activity schedule.
    Develop a volunteer introduction /training program and supporting documentation.
    Develop and execute volunteer retention processes that maintains long-term relationships with our volunteers
    Maintain volunteer online records
    Attend staff meetings and other internal meetings as requested.
    Time Commitment:
    15-20 Hours per week. Varies upon operations.
