Fixit Corps volunteers will assist homeowners who are over the age of 60 or disabled by providing minor home repairs that will help the individual stay in their home and remain independent. Some of these repairs can include installing safety rails, repairing minor plumbing and electrical problems, building wheelchair ramps, and other safety or basic wear and tear repairs.
Volunteers with previous experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and other trades are encouraged to pursue this opportunity.
