About the Role
High
Hopes Foundation of NH is seeking a Board Director focused on Donor Relations,
Community Outreach, and Alumni Engagement. This volunteer leadership role is
ideal for someone passionate about relationship-building, community connection,
and long-term sustainability of nonprofit impact.This board member will
play a key role in strengthening donor relationships, expanding outreach
efforts, and helping build an engaged alumni network of past families,
supporters, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an active, voting member of the Board of Directors
- Participate in board meetings and strategic planning efforts
- Actively promote High Hopes Foundation within personal and professional networks
- Create outreach efforts to expand awareness and support of the Foundation’s mission
- Build and nurture relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Support the creation and growth of an alumni network, engaging past families and supporters
Ideal Candidate Profile We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Ideal qualities include:
- Experience or interest in donor relations, fundraising, marketing, communications, or community outreach
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Passion for nonprofit work and helping families in need
- Ability
to think strategically while also contributing hands-on support
