Consumers can speak to a live volunteer by calling our consumer protection hotline. Our volunteers walk consumers through the process of filing a complaint with the Bureau and provide them with additional helpful resources and suggestions for how they can get assistance with their issue.

The Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau of the New Hampshire Department of Justice investigates and prosecutes unfair and deceptive acts and practices committed in the course of commerce in New Hampshire. The Bureau regularly recovers significant restitution for New Hampshire consumers who are the victim of unfair and deceptive acts or practices.
