Who We Are

Best Buddies is a global volunteer movement established to create opportunities for individuals with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) through friendship, leadership, integrated jobs, and inclusive living. We are currently in 36 schools in New Hampshire and just launched our Citizen's Adult Friendship Program, which matches adults with IDD with an adult Peer Buddy who lives in the same area, and has similar hobbies and interests.

What We Do

Be a Buddy and experience the life-changing power of friendship through Best Buddies. We cultivate an inclusive community by matching adults and students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in meaningful, one-to-one friendships. Friendship matches are based on shared likes/interests, age, and home location. If you are an adult (18+) and would like to be matched in a friendship, then please contact us or visit www.bestbuddiesonline.org/citizens. Volunteer hours are flexible. If you are a parent or student who would like a Best Buddies Chapter started in your school, then please contact us at 603-305-7529.
