Housekeeping opportunities in an office and classroom environment. Our space is used to help students prepare for the GED or HiSET exams at MY TURN, Inc. Adult Education.
MY TURN, Inc. seeks self-motivated cleaner(s) to keep our learning and office space clean. Build restrooms are not included in this volunteer opportunity.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning tables and other surfaces
- Cleaning glass doors and windows
- Vacuuming the carpet
- Re-arranging furniture
- Redirecting students and visitors
- Cleaning the small breakroom (sink, microwave, kettle, etc.)
- Arranging food donations and discarding out of date items
- Arranging donation clothes closet, if time permits
Volunteers must commit to keeping student information confidential and complete a criminal background check. We will provide the forms to you. Most of our students are aged 18+, but some students may be aged 16 or 17 and senior citizens.
We are currently approved by NH Dept. of Labor to host an intern and will make all reasonable attempts to support interns in completing projects for academic course credit.
This is an unpaid position.
