Description

Volunteer with Lakes Region Conservation Corps members for a day of trail work from 9:00am to 2:00pm! The work will focus on carrying lumber up the first section of Old Bridle Path in preparation for trail work occurring this summer. *Please note that the lumber is heavy and that lumber carrying is the only trail work task for this day. If you do not feel comfortable lifting or carrying heavy lumber, please consider registering for a different trail work day.

As always, this work is weather dependent. Should any changes to plans arise, we will provide updates. We encourage help from volunteers who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with our LRCC members!

Volunteers should bring appropriate clothing, water, and food. Please come prepared for cold weather conditions. Pack extra layers of clothes. Microspikes are recommended for winter trail days. We have some microspikes available at a first come-first serve basis. If you are in need of microspikes, please let us know ahead of your trail day. Consider bringing padding of some sort (a garden kneeling pad, cheap sleeping pad, sit pad, or old sweatshirt) to act as padding when carrying the lumber.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
