Now that the high heat of summer is behind us, it's time to take out the hiking gear, hit the trail and enjoy the cooler temps. Over the next few months, there will be a hike scheduled each week. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Squam Ranger program, meet other folks interested in hiking, and enjoy a day out on the trail. This hike starts at the Brooks Fisher Trail trailhead located off of Perch Pond Road and is roughly 6 miles roundtrip. We will wind our way up the switchbacks to the Crawford Ridgepole Trail where we will then hike on to Mt. Livermore. After soaking up the views and enjoying lunch we will retrace our steps back to the trailhead. Hike as much or as little as you'd like. Timing is hard to predict since it depends on the hikers so we may end a bit earlier or go later. Folks are welcome to hike at there own pace as this is not intended to be a guided hike.
Hikers should bring appropriate clothing, water, and food.
