Join Master Gardener Liz Stevens to learn to how to identify and remove invasive plant species. We will begin each session with a brief introduction to an invasive species and then go out onto the Science Center grounds to learn and practice techniques for removing that species from an area. Learn skills you can apply to removing invasive species from your own property. Snacks and lemonade will be provided to wrap up our work sessions.
No charge to attend but advance registration is required. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring work gloves, water, insect repellent, and sunscreen.
