WSCA 106.1 FM Portsmouth Community Radio (wscafm.org) is a listener‑supported, non‑commercial, freeform community radio station serving the Seacoast with diverse local music, arts, and public affairs programming. Role Summary This is a non-paid role. WSCA 106.1 FM, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with a mix of in‑person and remote board/committee meetings as scheduledWSCA-LP, Portsmouth Community Radio is looking for a volunteer to oversee our underwriters and donors.
Job responsibilities and duties:
Maintain the existing record of underwriters and donors with the following:
Name of organization
Contact information
Description of contributions
Payment plan and payments made
Maintain records of payment (coordinate with WSCA Treasurer)
Ensure that underwriters/donors have each of the following:
Logo on all WSCA media
Plaque on studio wall
On-air recorded promo
Contact quarterly (in-person or by phone, not by text/email etc.) underwriters/donors to ensure satisfaction and continued support of WSCA-LP
Job skills:
The job does require excellent phone skills.
The job does require a thorough understanding of WSCA and the benefits of being an underwriter/donor. This information will be presented to you by a WSCA Board of Trustees member.
This job does not require that you find new underwriters/donors, optionally you could add that to the list of responsibilities and duties if it appeals to you.
Estimated time required: 2–4 hours per week, year-round
