Sierra Club New Hampshire Chapter is looking for Chapter Treasurer candidates. The chapter treasurer works collaboratively with the Chapter Director and the elected volunteer member board called the Executive Committee. The chapter treasurer maintains the financial accounts and monthly reports of the Concord-based non-profit organization. The chapter treasurer is not alone. Rather, we collaborate!
- We have a group of volunteers who help with the data entry and coding;
- The Executive Committee helps maintain the accounts, expenses and monthly reports;
- The Chapter Director helps troubleshoot, coordinate, budget, and finalize the year-end closing; and
- The National Chapter Finance Department provides online support and coordination.
The Chapter Treasurer will be using online tools such as QuickBooks, credit card software, Salesforce, and NetSuite. We welcome a retiree who would like to maintain their skills or a person with interest to gain new skills. We are looking for volunteers with these skills and background but it is not required. We hope you are the right person.
The chapter director and the executive committee will work with the treasurer to sustain the financial health of the Chapter so that we can successfully achieve our local environmental goals.
