Visitor Services/Retail Store Internship

Albacore Park Submarine Museum is currently seeking part-time interns during the summer/fall 2021 season to assist with the day-to-day operations of our visitor center and store.  In addition, interns will track visitation, assist with the promotion of school group visits, offer guidance to visitors, participate in general store inventory and product ordering and placement. Training on the Point of Sale (POS) system and engagement with visitor orientation.  Interns will gain experience in visitor/customer services, adaptability and museum best practices for increasing the visitor experience. Interns must commit to one 8-hour day per week. The duration of the internship is flexible to suit the interns’ needs.
