Purple loosestrife has a square stem and smooth leaf edges to distinguish it from other native plant that are blooming now. Volunteers removed some but a few clumps remain that need digging out. The boardwalk and adjacent trails: plant trimming, moss removal, sand and paint visibility bumper, bit of boardwalk leveling, side trail smoothing and minibridge cleaning.
