Wetlands Walk Care Days

Both skilled and unskilled help greatly appreciated.  The boardwalk and adjacent trails need ongoing maintenance.  Applying sealant to support beams, scraping moss and lichen off trex, sweeping, raking, filling holes on access trail, using shims to level the surface, sanding and priming the bumper edge, helping replace  posts, removing invasive plants are some of the opportunities.  This is at Gunstock Mt Resort on public land.  Just past the first building on the right turn right, at the call box push the button and tell why you are there or email me by 7/18 at bccdvolunteer@gmail.com for pass code.  Follow the posterboard signs.  Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, you will be asked to sign a waiver.  Sunblock & bug spray recommended but not essential.  Sturdy footwear and gloves helpful, waders or hip boots very helpful.
