Volunteers needed for hospice companions in Peterborough area

Do you want to change a life with a little of your time? Compassus Hospice is looking for Companion Volunteers to spend time with patients at the end of life, reading, taking walks, chatting or doing whatever the patient wants to do. By spending one hour a week with someone you can provide comfort and companionship and you will also find it a very rewarding experience. We require a background check, completion of a complimentary training program, a commitment of 6-12 months for one hour a week, and a TB test.
