Comcast is hosting “Comcast Cares Day” in which they are building a garden on Saturday, April 30. All Produce grown in the garden will be donated to the NH Food Bank for distribution and will be used in meal preparation for distribution to boys and girls clubs and other programs through our Culinary Job Training Program. Volunteers will be painting the raised bed structures, filling with soil and planting seeds to start the growing season. We will also have craft projects for younger children!
We are looking for at least 15 volunteers who are interested in helping out. The shift is from 8:00 – 1:00 but they are not required to stay the entire time. The location is NOT at the food bank but at 676 Island Pond Road in Manchester.
