Who We Are

Since 1994, AVAP Members have addressed a critical need throughout the State of New Hampshire by providing direct service and support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. AVAP members provide a wide range of direct support services with special focus on providing economic empowerment services, addressing the barriers that prevent victims/survivors from accessing safety.

What We Do

Members provide a variety of direct services to meet the needs of survivors and their families that include facilitating financial literacy sessions and support, providing housing services and referrals, offering support and assistance at legal hearings, providing confidential support in person and on hotline calls, providing accompaniment to the hospital, police department, criminal proceedings and social service agencies, making contact and referrals to social service and community agencies, participating in public outreach and educational events and facilitating support groups and workshops.
