Since 1907, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester (BGCGM) have been stewards of a long and proud history, doing whatever it takes to deepen the impact of our work. We are one of the 53 founding organizations of BGCA and operate out of four locations in Greater Manchester: Union Street Clubhouse, Highland-Goffe’s Falls, Jewett Street, and Camp Foster. We serve more than 1,700 kids each year within our programs, where there are no barriers to membership and no limit to what our kids can achieve.
What We Do
BGCGM offers a variety of services, including Before and After School Programs from September to June; February and April Vacation Week Camps; non-school day programming, and 10-weeks of Summer Program for all grades. BGCGM also provides transportation to and from school, breakfast, and dinner for members.
Through our services, we offer many programs, including the Learning Center, STEAM, Performing Arts, and the Gym. Through these programs, we focus on activities surrounding arts and music, career development, college preparation, tutoring and homework assistance, fitness and athletics, community service, healthy living, and leadership opportunities. All program areas are managed by experienced staff who benefit from the assistance of long-term, dedicated volunteers to help ensure our kids are receiving the best services possible.
If you are looking to make a difference in the life of BGCGM member, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about our volunteer opportunities.
