Who We Are

The Triangle Club has been supporting peer-driven recovery from substance use since 1984.   We are members of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, the Dover Mental Health Alliance, the Mainspring Collective in Kittery, ME, and are connected to the Strafford County Public Health Network. Our mission is to promote the spiritual, physical and mental health of people in recovery from addiction to alcohol, heroin, and other substances, and to provide a safe place for those who acknowledge that staying substance-free is of primary importance. Within this safe, nurturing environment, substance misusers learn acceptance, self-love, coping strategies, and how the support of a community brings them hope for a new way of life.

What We Do

Over the years the club has evolved from being a meeting house for specifically Alcoholics Anonymous, to hosting Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Heroin Anonymous--as well as adding in meditation, yoga, and art classes to provide a more encompassing recovery path. On top of hosting meetings, our Director is a Certified Recovery Support Worker with a long career in the substance use community, and our Assistant Director a 6+ year community mental health case manager--both providing support to members in need of assistance gaining access to resources such as treatment, insurance benefits, employment success, and more.
