We are a volunteer board who live in the towns along the trail corridor. We work with landowners to secure access to land for the trail. We write grants to help build the trail. We hold events on the trail so volunteers can help. And we hold trail based events to raise money for maintenance.
What We Do
The mission of the Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail is to build and maintain a 34 mile multi-use path connecting Concord, Hopkinton, Warner, Sutton, Bradford and Newbury. We are working to stitch back together part of the former Concord & Claremont railroad line as a rail trail.
