Who We Are

The Center for Trauma-Responsive Practice Change (CTRPC) was founded by Dr. Cassie Yackley to meet the urgent need for evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions for young children and their caregivers affected by adversity. Focused on early childhood mental health, CTRPC supports healing and resilience by strengthening caregiver-child relationships through proven practices. The Center’s mission is to promote wellness and post-traumatic growth for children and families impacted by adversity. Building on this mission, CTRPC advances trauma-responsive, equity-centered systems across mental health, education, child welfare, and related fields—promoting relational healing and sustainable change.

What We Do

The Center for Trauma-Responsive Practice Change (CTRPC) is a mission-driven organization committed to advancing healing, resilience, and equity for children and families impacted by trauma. CTRPC partners with professionals and organizations across early childhood, mental health, child welfare, education, juvenile justice, schools, and police departments to strengthen trauma-responsive and equity-centered practices and create sustainable, system-wide change. Through initiatives like the statewide NH Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Provider Network, trauma-informed training and consultation, early childhood mental health consultation (TR-ECMHC), and reflective supervision, CTRPC builds the capacity of providers to respond with empathy, connection, and a deep understanding of how trauma and inequity shape development and care.
