Who We Are
MY TURN's mission is to help individuals develop goals, skills and confidence needed to transition successfully into post-secondary education or training and the world of work. The Adult Education program supports individuals in earning the Certificate of High School Equivalency. Our graduates have gone on to university, community college, the military, and apprenticeships.
What We Do
MY TURN provides Adult Education preparation for individuals ages 16 and over. Students take GED or HiSET exams which leads to the Certificate of High School Equivalency. We are primarily recruiting for volunteer tutors to work with our adult students. Students study reading and writing, science, social studies, and math. There is a particularly strong need for math tutors. Separately we would like volunteers for classroom housekeeping.
