CARE is a 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1945 with the creation of the CARE Package®, CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty.
What We Do
CARE places special focus on working alongside poor girls and women because, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to lift whole families and entire communities out of poverty. In 2020, CARE worked in over 100 countries, reaching more than 90 million people through 1,300 projects. I work as one of the Regional Advocacy Managers for the Northeast, which includes New Hampshire, and hope to connect with volunteers that wish to engage in events and meet with their NH elected officials to promote women's empowerment and equity for all people.
