FIRST New Hampshire Robotics

FIRST New Hampshire Robotics (FIRST NH) is a New Hampshire organization that delivers exciting, mentor-based research and robotics programs for NH students in grades K-12. FIRST NH works on behalf of the global FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics community, providing support to schools and FIRST teams across the state of New Hampshire.

FIRST New Hampshire Robotics (FIRST NH) works directly with schools and school districts to introduce and sustain FIRST programs within the schools. FIRST NH also works with youth organizations like the local Girls and Boys Clubs, Police Athletic Leagues, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, YMCA, Girls Inc., Girls At Work, 4-H clubs, among others, providing that same support to introduce and sustain FIRST teams in these organizations. And, FIRST NH works with other family and community groups to implement FIRST programs for their students. FIRST NH also organizes and implements competition and exposition events for our FIRST teams. And, FIRST NH engages in the recruitment of adult volunteers to serve as coaches and mentors of our teams and to fill key roles at our events. The overall goal of FIRST NH is to make FIRST programs accessible to every student in our state, and to provide our teachers, mentors, and coaches with the resources that they need to successfully implement the FIRST programs.
