Who We Are
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul. ~ John Muir Vision We envision a community that values respect, kindness and a sense of duty to ourselves, to those around us and to the natural world in our care and where places dedicated to introspection, reflection and connection will expand spiritual understanding and an overall sense of stewardship. Mission Guided by the will of founder, Arthur Astor Carey, the Little Harbor Chapel sanctuary seeks to inspire visitors to foster and nurture their own spiritual practice through access to the sacred setting of the historic Chapel and the unsurpassed serenity of the surrounding woods. ALL ARE WELCOME. Values Little Harbor Chapel values thoughtful stewardship of the vital and inextricably linked role that spirituality and access to nature play in the health of individuals and communities.
