Granite State Animal League, dba Franklin Animal Shelter, envisions communities where the principled and humane treatment of cats and dogs are the norm, overpopulation is controlled by responsible owners, and all adoptable companion animals are placed into loving 'forever' homes.

Our mission is to shelter, care for, and advocate for the abused, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs of the communities we serve by taking steps to control overpopulation and providing healthy animals that will be adopted into loving 'forever' homes. We will accomplish this by responsible stewardship of resources and maintaining a focus on the financial health and well-being of the organization.
