To provide, engage with, and support local communities throughout the state of New Hampshire, and New England with the opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture through the art of "wadaiko" or, Japanese drumming, as well as other Japanese performing arts; with the intent on promoting positive images of Japanese culture and history, thereby promoting greater cross-cultural understanding of the country of Japan and its deeply-rooted heritage.

Hokuto Taiko Dojo teaches the performance art of wadaiko (Japanese drumming), also known as "taiko" drumming. We are the first and only school for this performance art in New Hampshire. Through cultural immersion and creating value through education, we aim to share the vibrant culture of Japan while learning an artform that embraces all of the senses.
