Who We Are
The mission of the Carroll County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) as a nonprofit is to help address community needs by recruiting volunteers to lend their time and expertise in community service to nonprofit agencies and proprietary nursing homes, and in so doing to provide them with continued community connections and stable health.
What We Do
RSVP provides individuals with a variety of interesting and diverse volunteer opportunities available throughout Carroll County in many non-profit agencies. RSVP Signature Programs in Carroll County include Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, Meals on Wheels Driver Program, and Bone Builders. Additional volunteer service areas include food pantries, hospitals, nursing homes, congregate meal sites, 68 Hours of Hunger, libraries, tutoring, and making quilts for patients at nursing homes and newborns. These are merely a few examples of the valuable community services that are provided by over 400 RSVP volunteers throughout Carroll County.
