Volunteer: NH Chapter TreasurerSierra Club New Hampshire Chapter is looking for Chapter Treasurer candidates. The chapter treasurer works collaboratively with the Chapter Director and the elected volunteer member board called the Executive Committee. The chapter treasurer maintains the financial accounts and monthly reports of the Concord-based non-profit organization. The chapter treasurer is not alone. Rather, we collaborate! We have a group of volunteers who help with the data entry and coding; The Executive Committee helps maintain the accounts, expenses and monthly reports; The Chapter Director helps troubleshoot, coordinate, budget, and finalize the year-end closing; and The National Chapter Finance Department provides online support and coordination.The Chapter Treasurer will be using online tools such as QuickBooks, credit card software, Salesforce, and NetSuite. We welcome a retiree who would like to maintain their skills or a person with interest to gain new skills. We are looking for volunteers with these skills and background but it is not required. We hope you are the right person. Are retired and still want to maintain your skills? Or are just getting started and want new skills to add to your resume? We are looking for you! The Chapter has monthly tasks that you can do in the Concord office or at home. We have online pre-recorded training and experts for one on one sessions. At the beginning it will take more time as you get familiar with the tools but once you enter the info a few times it should only take 2 to 3 hours each month, at most. We use a number of different software, such as QuickBase, Salesforce, ad VAN. We will demand confidentiality as the information is sensitive and critical to our statewide programming. Comfortability with the software is preferred, but not required. We are looking for 4 people to work as a team. We believe in a strong volunteer community. Come join our efforts to protect clean air and water for our local communities and wildlife.
