Overview:
Help create a warm, welcoming environment by ensuring the coffee and snack area is clean, stocked, and ready for members to enjoy. Kitchen Volunteers support daily hospitality at the Center—offering a smile along with a fresh cup of coffee.

One or more 1.5-hour shifts per week is appreciated. Volunteers are welcome to choose a regular time that fits their schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Brew coffee and set out snacks for members

Wipe down counters 

Wash, dry, and put away dishes as needed

Keep kitchen and serving area tidy and welcoming

Refill supplies and notify staff when items are running low

Follow basic food safety and cleanliness guidelines

The Food Pantry Coordinator ensures the smooth, consistent operation of the Center’s food pantry program. This volunteer plays a lead role in coordinating pantry-related tasks—food pick-up and stocking, managing food orders and inventory, scheduling weekly pantry volunteers, and serving as the back-up operator in the absence of volunteers. The coordinator ensures accurate data collection and timely reporting to both internal staff and external partners, helping the pantry remain well-stocked, compliant, and responsive to the needs of the community.
