Many patients at home, in skilled nursing facilities, and in assisted living settings take comfort in the unconditional love offered by an animal. Compassus Hospice NH is looking for individuals who are interested in sharing their dogs with people at the end of life. We are looking for Certified Pet Therapy dogs to visit patients and bring lots of smiles. Do you have a special dog that you want to share? (Dogs must be certified by a national certification organization such as Therapy Dogs International.) Give us a call at 603-606-7974 to learn how you can help.
Volunteer schedules are flexible, and you can volunteer as often as you wish! Locations in Bedford, Newmarket, Hampton, Nashua.

Do you want to change a life with a little of your time? Compassus Hospice is looking for Companion Volunteers to spend time with patients at the end of life, reading, taking walks, chatting or doing whatever the patient wants to do. By spending one hour a week with someone you can provide comfort and companionship, and you will also find it a very rewarding experience. We require a background check, completion of a complimentary training program, a commitment of 6-12 months for one hour a week, and a TB test. We provide full training, and you can volunteer at your convenience, days, nights or weekends.
