This free training session will cover the basics of volunteering with Prescott Farm and teach you how to use the iNaturalist app to assist in making observations on Prescott Farm trails. Learn how to use the app to contribute to the Prescott Farm Biodiversity Project and gain credible resources to help you build your flora and fauna identification skills. At the end of the training, participate in a scavenger hunt for observations! Please note that this training and volunteer opportunity are most appropriate for youth 16+, any youth under the age of 18 must have signed parental permission to participate.
The numbers of participants for these volunteer trainings are limited and COVID safety measures will be taken; including mask-wearing, social distancing, and remaining outdoors for the session. Please email me (msorensen@prescottfar.org) if you are interested in attending!
