Beautiful Kirkwood Gardens has a wonderful team of volunteers who create a public space full of blooms and butterflies. Gardeners, from beginner to skilled, assist on Thursday mornings between May 1 and mid-October at their convenience. Donning their gardening gloves, volunteers assist with light gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, and pruning. They may also assist with the annual Plant Sale fundraiser on June 1, 2019. Interested gardeners meet with the Volunteer Manager for an orientation before starting their gardening adventure. Volunteers 12 through 15 years old must be accompanied by a chaperone.
