We would love to have you join our team of kind and caring volunteers!
Daily volunteer opportunities follow a 2-hour structure between 9am and 5pm. Volunteers have the option of working with the adoptable cats, dogs, or providing general shelter cleaning support. Morning volunteers (9am-11am) working alongside the staff to feed breakfast, clean kennels, and walking the adoptable dogs. Afternoon volunteers (11am-3pm) help provide enrichment and socialization to the adoptable animals or additional shelter cleaning and miscellaneous projects. Evening volunteers (3pm-5pm) work alongside staff to feed dinner, spot clean kennels, and walking the adoptable dogs.
Volunteers are able to self-schedule their shifts to best fit their availability. Additional applications are needed to begin onboarding (visit, nhhumane.org/programs). Please email, programs@nhhumane.org referencing VolunteerNH with any additional questions!
