The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department is now planning for the 30th Annual Winter Carnival on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at Wasserman Park in Merrimack NH.
The purpose of this Annual Event is to bring families outdoors during the winter and get them participating in a variety of fun and free activities. Our community partners will provide a variety of games, crafts and other activities for families to participate in.
What this year's event will look like?
Due to the current COVID-19 surge, this year's event will be held entirely outdoors at Wasserman Park with activities spread out around the the Park. We will not be limiting the capacity this year, but we will be spreading out all of the activities to avoid congestion. Registration is not required to participate in the event.
We are looking for volunteers to help with overall event logistics; running an activity, set up, breakdown, etc.
We are also looking to add additional activities and so we would welcome volunteers who could teach or demo a specific skill at the event that participants could attend/try out.
