Second Chances is seeking a volunteer attorney to provide occasional guidance on nonprofit governance, policies, contracts, and general legal questions. We are a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift and consignment store that provides vocational training opportunities for adults with disabilities. The time commitment is minimal, but your expertise could have a lasting impact on our organization's growth and sustainability.

Second Chances is seeking an Administrative Volunteer to help support our mission of providing job training opportunities for adults with disabilities. Tasks may include responding to emails, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, assisting with consignor communications, and other administrative duties. Most work can be completed remotely and on a flexible schedule. Even a few hours per month can make a meaningful difference.

Volunteer bookkeeper/accountant for approximately 5 hours per month to help a nonprofit thrift and vocational training program maintain accurate financial records.  Should be about to complete quarterly tax filings, payroll reports, etc for a 501c3.

This could be virtual or onsite.  Will require the use of your technology/device.

Second Chances Crazy Cool Consignments is seeking compassionate, dependable volunteers to serve as job coaches, supporting our learners as they build real-world job skills in a retail setting. Volunteers in this role work alongside individuals with disabilities, providing encouragement, guidance, and gentle prompts as they complete tasks such as organizing merchandise, interacting with customers, and following daily routines. This position requires patience, strong communication skills, and a comfort level with basic technology, as volunteers may help learners navigate simple digital tools used in the store. Second Chances Crazy Cool Consignments is seeking reliable, detail-oriented volunteers to support our retail operations and create a welcoming experience for every customer. This role involves hands-on tasks such as sorting and tagging inventory, organizing displays, assisting shoppers, and helping maintain a clean, inviting store environment. Volunteers must be comfortable using technology, including basic point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and email or online platforms, as these tools are essential to our daily operations.
