Join the Squam Lakes Association and Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative to learn about solar energy and the upcoming solar installation project for SLA. Ted Vansant, Founder and President of New England Commercial Solar Services (NECSS), will discuss the basics of solar installations, and more specifically, the design for the SLA project. Ted currently serves as Chair of the New Hampshire Sustainable Energy Association. He believes that every solar panel that is installed helps address climate change through lower emissions and through education. Sandra Jones of PAREI, and Brett Durham of the SLA will also be presenters for this event. Sandra is the Co – Founder and Director of the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI) and is co-coordinating the SLA solar installation with Ted as well as assisting with fundraising as part of PAREI’s effort to partner with local non-profits to “go solar”. SLA will be hosting a number of events to help raise awareness and funds to support the solar installation throughout 2018.
All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
