About the Day: Volunteer with Lakes Region Conservation Corps (LRCC) members for a morning of trail work! We will hike within the Belknap Woods trail network and change out some trail signs, take out blowdowns, lop branches encroaching on the trails, and make sure blazing is clear and visible. If you aren’t available for the full 4 hours please don’t hesitate to contact us and we can set up a way for you to lend a hand for the amount of time that works for you. As always, this work is weather dependent and should any changes to plans arise we will provide updates. We encourage volunteers to join who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with our LRCC members!
What to Bring: Volunteers should bring appropriate winter clothing, water, food, and snowshoes and/or micro-spikes depending on conditions. The SLA can provide snowshoes for up to six volunteers.
