Who We Are

Our Mission Global Citizens Circle bridges divides through radically civil dialogue. Engaging across generations, we challenge polarization, advancing just and peaceful solutions to the world’s most pressing concerns. Our Vision We envision a civil society united across generations cultivating trust and the common ground for peace. Our History Global Citizens Circle was founded in NH as New England Circle in 1974 in the aftermath of a turbulent decade of assassinations, wars, racial tension, and government upheaval as a way of gathering concerned people of diverse backgrounds and opinions to address critical issues of our time. Through the decades and across tables and continents, the Circle has encouraged and inspired highly participatory, spirited conversations on race relations in the US, Northern Ireland’s troubles, South Africa’s struggles, children, families and community, homelessness, peace, and women’s rights — to name but a few.

What We Do

Global Citizens Circle brings together diverse voices for intergenerational discussions on critical local and global issues. We actively engage with people before, during and after programs to inspire, motivate, connect and activate them to be a changemaker. We are an intergenerational organization welcoming all ages, races, religions, backgrounds and opinions.
