Who We Are

Since 1995, Capital Region Habitat for Humanity has been building more than homes—we’re building stability, self-reliance, and community across central New Hampshire. We are a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 U.S. states and in approximately 70 countries worldwide. Habitat’s vision is simple yet powerful: a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

What We Do

NH Capital Region Habitat for Humanity partners with families in need of safe, affordable housing—offering a hand up, not a handout. Families work alongside volunteers to help build their own homes, investing sweat equity in every step. In return, they purchase the home through an affordable means, creating a path toward long-term stability. From revitalizing neighborhoods to restoring peace of mind, we believe in the power of housing to change lives. Our efforts are guided by core values of strength, stability, and self-reliance, and grounded in a mission of service and community connection.
