Windowdressers

WindowDressers brings community volunteers of all economic and social situations together to improve the warmth and comfort of interior spaces, lower heating costs, and reduce pollution associated with burning fossil fuels, by producing low-cost insulating window inserts that function as custom, interior-mounted storm windows. We are a non-profit organization that started in Maine, but now also operate in New Hampshire and Vermont.

We use a participatory and volunteer run 'Community Build' model to allow local communities to come together to build internal window inserts. These inserts help reduce community members energy bills, energy use and increase the comfort level of their homes.
