Ossipee Historical Society

We are a group trying to preserve Ossipee history by archiving and displaying historical treasures. We are an older group that is looking for someone to maintain Facebook, and other sites for exposure. We also need someone to archive items into Past Perfect software. We are an older demographic, and know very little about any of this.

We are preserving Ossipee history by having a museum in Center Ossipee with various displays each year. We maintain the museum building, Grant Hall, and the Early Settlers' Meeting House in the Granite section of town. We invite the After School Program to visit the museum for a scavenger hunt, we were providing monthly historical programs, but they were poorly attended, we are open during the summer months three days a week, consistently, and had 84 visitors during the 2025 season. We are planning a Museum Store Sunday on Black Friday weekend with items for sale, cocoa & cookies. And much more.
