Who We Are
WNHN is a noncommercial, low-power, largely volunteer-operated FM radio station (94.7 FM) in Concord founded 13 years ago and overseen by a nonprofit board of directors. We are independently incorporated and have no legal ties or affiliations with the Democratic Party or any PACS or other left of center interest groups. Our principal, locally produced, talk show is "The Attitude with Arnie Arnesen." Other political commentary shows we broadcast originate from affiliate stations, like ourself, belonging to the Pacifica radio network.
What We Do
As a noncommercial radio station (also simulcasting over the internet), we have two missions: to keep alive the two great American musical art forms - blues and jazz - through broadcasting and webcasting 24/7; and to air "left of center" talk shows as a countervailing voice to the right-wing talk that proliferates on commercial radio.
